Wind training Program!!!!
Hey guys,
I know some of you are doing some sessions on the wind trainers which is awesome. So I thought I'd give you the easiest way to increase your fitness levels and lactate thresh hold. Do some interval training!
It's pretty hard to do it on the wind trainers at school cause they don't create enough traction for the back wheels so try and set it up as best as possible.
Anyway here's the general idea of the sessions:-
Warm Up:- Get the legs spinning and heart pumping at a good pace for about 3-5 mins.
Workout:- Ride hard for 4mins, resting pace for 30sec.
Ride hard for 3mins, resting pace for 20sec.
Ride hard for 5mins, resting pace for 45sec.
Ride hard for 4mins, resting pace for 30sec.
Ride hard for 3mins, resting pace for 20sec.
Ride hard for 5mins, resting pace for 45sec.
Recovery:- Resting pace for 2mins to get the heart rate back to normal!
If you have any questions or just generally don't get how to do it, just ask.
Looking forward to hearing how you guys go with it.
P.S. If you put your best effort in you should hardly be able to talk/hold a conversation during the rest periods
